Your first class
A first class is an ordinary class
You and your child join a group in the warm pool for half an hour. A parent or caregiver is in the water with every child, and the instructor leads from the water. You will sing, hold, kick and play, and nobody has to do anything their child doesn't want to do that morning.

A class from start to finish
How half an hour goes
Every class follows the same rhythm, so a child knows what comes next.
- 01
Step 1: Arrive and rinse
Wait on the pool deck with your child until the instructor calls the class. Everyone rinses before they get in.
- 02
Step 2: A song on the step
The class begins with a hello song, so everyone gets used to the water together.
- 03
Step 3: One or two movements
The instructor shows a hold, a float or a kick. You try it with your child, and the instructor comes around.
- 04
Step 4: Play with a toy
A ring, a noodle or a floating toy gives the movements something to reach for.
- 05
Step 5: Towel and a word
Wrap your child in a towel. The instructor tells you what the class worked on.
What to bring
A towel, a swim diaper and a change of clothes
Children under three wear a snug swim diaper under their swim clothes, and a swim shirt is welcome in every class. Bring a towel for each of you and a change of clothes. Goggles are for older children, and a cap is only for a child who likes one.
